CRAFT DUTIES

Laborers – Perform “hands-on” pipeline activities, such as the installation/removal of environmental control devices (silt fence, straw bales, erosion matting, etc.), skid placement/removal, sand blasting, pipeline coating, assisting with pipe loading/unloading activities, hand tool use, removal of construction debris from the work areas. Teamsters – Responsible for driving/ transporting/delivery of personnel, materials and equipment for the project with company supplied vehicles. Each driver must be qualified and licensed (CDL) to operate vehicles ranging from one-ton pickups, passenger buses, dump trucks, water trucks, fuel trucks, tractor trailer and lowboy tractor trailers. Operators – Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, pipelayers, cranes, forklifts, farm tractors, generators, compressors, and pumps on the project. Also, the operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the equipment he/she has been assigned for wear and maintenance throughout the project. Please contact:

Welders – Responsible for welding the project pipe together for various crews during the project such as welding pipe together for road bore crews, directional drills, pipe gang, firing line, and testing and tie-in crews.

Welder Helpers – Assistants to the welder. They prepare all pipe ends to be welded with buffing being the most common method. The helpers also maintain a clean welding area during the weld process, again by buffing and in some cases grinding the weld metal pass made by their welder. Welders and helpers please contact:
